Local Mutual Aids and Community Resources

There is so much good being done in St. Pete by small grassroots, citizen-initiated and volunteer run projects and organizations.

Here are some.

Tampa Bay Abortion Fund

TBAF provides access, financial assistance and logistical support to people seeking abortions in Tampa Bay, Florida. Founded in 2017, volunteer-led TBAF has helped hundreds of pregnant people in Florida access safe and legal abortion care. They hold close relationships with local clinics, other abortion funds and have a network of volunteers who provide rides, childcare, case management, judicial bypass, condoms, emergency contraceptives, and more to our community.

They have largely assisted St. Pete tenants with assistance and resources in securing fair and equitable housing amongst the war on citizens we currently face in St. Pete.
